In my youth I was expose to Amateur Radio, my Father Wilbur Kelly (K3BFP) and Uncle Alvy Kelly ( KB3AQS) were always home brewing Amateur Radio gear and installing antennas. Received my Amateur Radio License in 2005 Started out As a Technician Class (KB3LXH) operator as most operators do and upgraded to General Class in 2014. Received K3BFP which was my father call sign in 2014. Thank you Dad, I am proud to be able to use his call sign.
